About Safe Seats

Welcome to Safe Seats, owned by Gary Booth & Darren Pene.

We both joined the Navy in 1985, who would of thought 31 years later that our paths would cross yet again. So when the opportunity arose for us to become the owners of Safe Seats it seemed like a natural fit.

After becoming dads, we became much more aware of the world around us. We wanted our children to be healthy and safe, whilst also considering the impact all the products required to raise a child had on the environment.

We began to think about how we could provide environmentally friendly products that wouldn’t harm our children or New Zealand while keeping them safe. These type of products became the first choice for us to buy.

We also wanted the products to be user friendly and convenient to use, as lets face it, dad's want it easy!

Darren is a self described inventor with a passion for living as green as a working dad can be. Gary is a people's person with a vision for a better future for the community we live in. Together we created Safe Seats!

We have always found that the harder we work, the luckier we get. Our key to success has been an unfailing goal of making things better for our customers, our employees and our earth. Our lives are so challenged with making the right choices every day, we want to make some of these choices easier.

Keeping the body hydrated, reducing sugar, reducing waste, reducing the impact we have on the planet and child safety are all keys to the directions we strive to reach for each day.

Safe Seats conducts business with the highest ethical standards, with respect for our business partners, and with mindfulness to our shared social and environmental responsibility. We believe that this way of managing our business – with respect for people, planet, and profits, will create lasting value and mutual benefit.

We are in the business to exceed the expectation of our customers.
