From when your baby is born, through to approximately 15 months, use the RECARO fix base together with the RECARO Privia infant capsule for a maximum of safety. This combination was awarded test winner by Stiftung Warentest (Issue 6/2014, Group 0/0+). The total rating of 1.3 ("Very Good") is the best test result that a child safety seat has ever received from the institution.
As soon as the child has grown out of the Privia the RECARO fix base can be used with the next stage seat RECARO Optia (unfortunately not available in NZ!)
